Day 345

Day 345

A swimming pool in the ocean

A protected UNESCO World Heritage Site, the great blue hole off the coast of Belize is 1,000-feet-wide, making it the world’s largest sea water hole. It is believed to have formed 153,000 years ago.

Ever since Jacques Cousteau declared it one of the top five scuba diving sites in the world, the giant sink hole has been a popular destination.

Each day for the whole of the year 2024, there will be a new seed of light. Please get in touch if you have one to share.
