Hidden treasure map on a 2,000 year old copper scroll
Written on a copper scroll, dating back 2,000 years is a treasure map.
“In the fortress which is in the Vale of Achor, forty cubits under the steps entering to the east: a money chest and it [sic] contents, of a weight of seventeen talents.”
Found in Qumran in 1952 among the Dead Sea Scrolls, the text of the Copper Scroll (3Q15) describes vast amounts of silver, gold and coins. To date this hidden treasure has not been found.
