At 101, she’s living her best life
Babette Hughes is a vibrant centenarian who lives by 8 rules:
1. Don’t ever believe you’re ‘done’
2. Talk to friends of all ages
3. Let little things make your day
4. Have the courage to be authentic
5. Do things you love
6. Move your body, rest your mind
7. Don’t get stuck in negativity
8. Do what you know you need to do
“There’s an idea in our culture that’s so wrong: that life is over when you get to be a certain age. But your golden years, like mine, can be the best years of your life.”
After having recently published her ninth book, ”Lessons in Evil”, she is an inspiration to those of us who think it’s too late to do something meaningful with our lives.
