The magic rabbit
High in the Tian Shan mountains of China, at elevations of between 9,200 and 13,450 feet, lives a sweet little creature called the Ili Pika. It’s been nicknamed the “magic rabbit” because it is a master at hiding.
It was only discovered in 1983 by a scientist named Li Weidong and it would be two years before he would see another one. In fact this rare and elusive species has only ever been seen a total of 29 times.
It makes me wonder what other “magical” creatures live in this world that we have never seen or will never know about.
