Day 86

Day 86

Parting the waters

Most bridges go over water. The Moses Bridge in the Netherlands goes through the water. The ingeniously designed accoya wood bridge parts the water allowing dry passage across for pedestrians and cyclists. Adjustable dams on the sides prevent spillovers.

The bridge was built as part of the country’s restoration effort of Fort de Roovere and its surrounding moat.

Each day for the whole of the year 2024, there will be a new seed of light. Please get in touch if you have one to share.
