Let it snow
The Inuit may have 50 words for snow but the Scottish language has 421 words for their white rain, including:
skelf: a large snowflake
spitters: small drops of driving snow
unbrak: the beginning of a thaw
feefle: to swirl
flindrikin: a slight snow shower
snaw-pouther: fine driving snow
I wonder if they have a word for the way snow sparkles in the sun. I would call it…kaleidosnow?
