Human sized lily pad
The giant Amazonian water lily has the strongest leaves in the world. It can support the weight of a small child—perhaps even an adult.
With huge circular leaves that stretch up to 10 feet and stalks that can grow 2-1/2 times as much, amazingly it’s not even the largest of the lilies. In 2022 a larger lily was discovered in Bolivia.
