Day 28

Day 28

The stunning Blue Dragon is a simple sea slug. Their blue colour creates countershading which camouflages them from predators but if necessary they can defend themselves. Through a diet of venomous prey, including the Portuguese Man-O’-War, the Blue Dragon becomes toxic itself.

This sea creature floats upside down using the surface tension of the water and air bubbles in their belly to stay afloat. They are carried along by the winds and ocean currents, showing us how to go with the flow…and also you are what you eat.
