Limitless Clean energy is possible.
Scientists have been working on developing a near-limitless source of clean energy and last year they got a little closer when they achieved “ignition” (not the starting your car engine kind—the kind that means getting more energy out than you put in)!
This clean energy is created through nuclear fusion which harnesses the heat that is produced from merging atoms together. This is basically the opposite of the atom splitting nuclear fission, which is how bombs that can blow up the world are created. That means no nuclear power stations, no radioactive waste and no risk of a chain reaction meltdown.
