There are rainbows everywhere…
…even in the Mindanao gum tree (rainbow eucalyptus). Its smooth, orange-tinted bark peels away in strips to reveal a canvas of green, red, orange, gray, and purplish brown hues. And as it sheds, new colors and patterns are unveiled, each tree a unique natural masterpiece.
Its leaves are antiseptic and teas made from the leaves are taken to treat asthma and coughs. The tree also has the ability to repel mosquitoes.
